This shot is taken from the hill close to Nice Old Town, called Castle Hill. From here, the view on each side is fantastic.
This shot shows the view down to the Promenade des Anglais. A few steps to the other side of the hill, you can look down on the harour as well. There did used to be a castle here, however it is now merely a pile of ruins among the trees and landscaped gadens.
It is a lovely place to play or simply sit for a breath of cooler air. We saw a few locals take their lunch hour up here with a picnic and a newspaper. Lovely!
