The beautiful yellow church building here is the St Reparte Cathedral. It can be found in Nice Old Town in this square - the Place Rossetti.
This square was always bustling with visitors when we passed through, so we had to keep coming back until it was empty enough to get a good shot of the church. The Cathedral itself is open daily from 8am until 7pm and was built in 1650 in honour of the patron saint of Nice.
Inside, you can see a delight of Baroque plasterwork and marble. The dome is gorgeous and decorated with over fourteen thousand glazed tiles. To the side of the church is an 18th century bell-tower.
