It was built for, and named after, Queen Victoria, who took over the entire west wing when she came to visit with here retinue of staff.
Nowadays it is no longer a hotel, but instead offers luxury apartment living for the Nice residents. The gardens can be reached by crossing a walkway. In our efforts to provide quality information for our readers, we did try to enter these to get a good shot for you, but alas...
