The Palais de Justice | is in a large square, right in the centre of the Old Town of Nice. There are cafes all around, so it seemed to be a popular spot for meeting up with friends and doing a spot of 'people-watching'.
You can watch a case inside the court themselves if you want - although we would recommend a good grasp of the French language. We didn't go in, but others told us that it was a very different experience to that of an English court.
Part of this building is the Palace of the Royal Family of Sardinia. Visitors are not normally allowed in this section of the building, except on special opening days.
