This shot shows the lovely gardens of the Franciscan monastery at Cimiez. Here you can enjoy the fresher, air and the views of Nice, as well as finding out about life in Franciscan times from the museum housed here.
Only the very fittest will want to walk here from the city - and even then we would recommend choosing a cool day. We caught one of the regular bus services up the hill, but you can also take a taxi up here.
Many holiday companies offer coach trips to Cimiez too.
