What a spectacular view of Nice Harbour isn't it? This shot is taken from Castle Hill - right next to Nice Old Town, where you can take a lift (elevator) to the top to see views like this for yourself. Alternatively, there are steps... over one hundred of them, according to a small boy who had counted his way up. We enjoyed wandering around here - there are mosaics, sports facilities (such as a running track), play areas for youngsters and plenty of trees and gardens up here in the cooler air. There is also a cafe, but it is rather disappointing: bring a picnic and a bottle of water instead!
