Castle Hill in Nice is squashed between the Old Town and the harbour area. This shot was taken right where the lift (or elevator) terminates. The domed building in the middle of the paving is the housing for the top of the ride. We rode up the elevator for the cost of a few cents and walked back down the steps later. The views from here are gorgeous aren't they? One one side you have the beaches and the Promenade des Anglais, whereas on the other you can look down on the busy harbour and the huge ships berthed here.
